He said :
If a woman was pious and religious so she is = 1
If she was beautiful, so add a 0 to 1 = 10
If she was wealthy, so add another 0 = 100
If she was from a good and known family, so add another 0 = 1000

But if "1" is gone then nothing remains but a bunch of zeros!

PASS THE BISCUITS

When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his Biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school.

I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burned biscuits."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your momma put in a long hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides... a burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"

You know, life is full of imperfect things... and imperfect people.. I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else. What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults and choosing to celebrate each others differences, is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

So...please pass me a biscuit. And yes, the burned one will do just fine! And please pass this along to someone who has enriched your life... I just did!

Life is too short to wake up with regrets... Love the people who treat you right and forget about the ones who don't.

Me, Park & Ride

On my last day to Penang office today, i try out this Park & Ride Programme.

The Penang State Government is planning to introduce Park & Ride service for those who commute to Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone (FIZ). Several sites have been identified in Seberang Perai as Park and Ride station for this purpose. The Penang State Government will launch the first Park & Ride station at Bandar Sunway on 1st March 2011.

The express service will depart from Bandar Sunway to FIZ area in the morning and return from FIZ area to Bandar Sunway in the evening. The operating period for the express service is as follows:
Morning session : 5. 30 am to 8.10 am
Evening session : 4. 30 pm to 7.30 pm

Car parking is available around Sunway Carnival Mall. Factory personnel can park their vehicles anywhere around this area and board the express service to Bayan Lepas FIZ. The express service will cover almost FIZ 1,2,3&4, Technoplex and BLIP. This express service is provided free of charge.

The objective of this service is to reduce congestion within the corridor of the proposed Park and Ride service particularly the roads leading to the factories. Apart form this, the State Government’s intention is to promote the use of public transport.


So mr.hubby yg bercuti hari ini and zarif sent me to sunway carnival this morning. Mujur la zarif ada abah, kalau tak mau dia mengamuk nk ikut agaknya =)

In total ada 3 routes, which cover most area mention above.

BEST A - FIZ 1, 2 & BLIP (9 trip pegi, 8 trip balik)
BEST B - FIZ 3 & BLIP (9 trip pegi, 8 trip balik)
BEST C - FIZ 4 & TECHNOPLEX (9 trip pegi, 10 trip balik)

Lucky am I - all 3 lalu opis =)

So i take Best A this morning - trying out the longest trip ( i think la).
Depart at 7.53am (jam semasa) arrive at 8.38. Not bad huh? Eventhough bas lalu jalan jauh, tp still xyah fikir jalan yg jem, tol & minyak. =)

Last but not least, this is most interesting one. =)

Overall, saya menyokong program ini 100%.

Mungkin sbb masih baru or sbb byk trip disediakan, trip saya tadi cuma ada 10 org ja pun..

Next time balik saya pasti nk naik lagi.. 

p/s: Petang ni x dapat nk naik bas balik sbb mr.hubby & zarif nk datang amik.. =) 

Perhatian! Pelawat tak diundang.

Satu tangkapan yg dibuat dikawasan bukit puchong minggu lepas mendapati ciri2 rumah (landed) yg menjadi favourite lawatan-tak-diundang-ikut-pintu-belakang adalah :-

1 - Kawasan belakang yg gelap.

Maybe lampu belakang rosak, dan korang mengharapkan pada lampu belakang rumah jiran korang. That's fine, tp take note kalau ttiba jiran korang lewat pasang lampu belakang i.e. diorang keluar dari petang sampai lewat malam so kawasan adalah gelap! 

2 - Terdapat pokok yg agak/mmg rimbun

Even batang pokok itu tidak mampu nk menlindungi saya yg kecik ni, tp kalau dah gelap bapak gajah pun boleh menyorok kat belakang tu.

3 - Berhampiran dengan rumah yg sedang di-renovate, esp kitchen extention.

This is the actual point. Biasa kalau ada renovation pasti ada besi staging or tangga kayu. Kalau rumah anda yg sedang direnovate, make sure bila pekerja tu balik setiap petang, staging/tangga ini di lock supaya pelawat-tak-diundang tidak menggunakan staging/tangga ini untuk cubaan melawat ke rumah jiran2. Jika rumah jiran yg sedang direnovate, pesan la pada jiran anda tu ye. Jgn harap sgt pada pekerja tu nk 'make-sure-it-is-lock-tp-kunci-bg-kat-geng-pelawat-x-diundang'.

Anda faham kan maksud saya?

Bukan bersangka buruk tp sekadar mengambil langkah yg lebih berjaga-jaga..
